The actual shifting of the patient, if immediately required, need not be deferred for the record but it has to be sent to the hospital immediately after the patient is shifted so that the doctors in the hospital where the patient is shifted, are able to give further treatment taking into account the treatment given in the referring hospital and the condition and the symptoms of the patient recorded by the doctors in that hospital.
